How SMARTDollars works for you

Our self-pay screening and insurance discovery tool, SMARTDollars, performs an eligibility search on your patient account data to determine active coverage for Medicare, Medicaid and Medicaid Managed Care plans. Our team has designed a bespoke waterfall process used to determine the appropriate Medicaid essential plan as well.

SMARTDollars will also verify eligibility for commercial insurance plans where available. It can update the eligibility status and auto-rebill the Host system via standard HL7 transaction. We integrate with the leading Healthcare Technology vendors including Epic, Cerner (Invision, Eagle, Soarian), Meditech and Raintree.
